We begin each session with a friendly discussion about what your goals are and any issues you would like to work through. Depending on the session you have chosen, I may send you some "homework" beforehand, sharing this information is entirely optional. The effectiveness of the experience is enriched by setting positive intentions or affirmations.​
Once comfortably settled on the Reiki table, you'll remain fully clothed. Depending on your goals, some sessions may begin with a special meditation.
Using both hands-on and hands-above techniques, whichever you are most comfortable with, I follow a precise Reiki movement sequence, addressing both your physical body and entire aura. Specific attention may be given to particular areas or organs if needed.
​The session is centered on cleansing, rejuvenating, and balancing your energy field. This promotes a smooth flow of energy, nourishing you on the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual levels. I encourage sharing any thoughts or sensations you may have experienced at the session's end.

Most of the time a person will feel relaxed and uplifted by a Reiki treatment. However, as a person’s vibration goes up, toxins that have been stored in the body will be released. When this happens, a person can get a headache or stomach ache or feel weak. This just means your body is cleansing as part of the post-treatment process. Make some room for self-care, drink plenty of water and honor the needs of your body!
Yes, remote or distant Reiki sessions are possible. Distant Reiki sessions can be as effective as in-person sessions as Reiki energy knows no limits, allowing practitioners to send healing energy to individuals who are not physically present. We'll agree on a time, have a brief conversation before the session, and then all you need to do is relax and allow the healing energies to flow through you. After the session, we'll connect to share our experiences.
